22 Bank Branches Closing In New Jersey: Is Yours?
Several bank branches will be closing in New Jersey.
It was announced back in 2022 that Lakeland and Provident Banks would merge and now due to what they're calling an "overlap," 22 bank branches will close toward the end of the summer, according to NorthJersey.com.
“A careful and thorough review of our combined branch network was undertaken, and we have decided to close either a Provident branch or a Lakeland branch in cases where a single location can serve all of our customers,” the website states.

The good news is the bank branches that are closing are within 3 miles of another branch so you won't have to travel too far.
