A Beautiful Wedding on Point Pleasant Beach
This weekend was spectacular! Many friends and family celebrated the love my sister and her now husband share with a beautiful wedding on Point Pleasant Beach. Even with the pandemic and cancelled Jamaica destination wedding plans, it was pretty damn cool to see love win!
The weekend started with a tasty rehearsal dinner at Spano's in Point Pleasant. I ate about twenty ravioli's and my khakis were defiantly feeling a little tight the next day. It was my first time eating at Spano's and I truly believe it is one of the best Italian restaurants we have at the Jersey Shore.
When planning anything in October you always have to question the weather. Luckily, we couldn't have asked for a better day. Sunny, temperatures in the sixties and not a cloud in the sky! The wedding took place on the Point Pleasant Beach just yards away from Jenkinson's Boardwalk. It was all around a beautiful wedding and I couldn't be happier for my sister and now brother-in-law. After they were pronounced husband and wife, we made our way to the River Queen in Brielle. A group of 50 hopped on a boat and had the time of our lives. Dancing, drinking and eating for a solid four hours! Yes, I did do the worm and my lower back has been having issues ever since. I would highly recommend having a wedding or any type of celebration on the River Queen, especially during questionable times we live in now.
All in all it was a perfect weekend and I am proud to see my sister happy with someone she loves. The pandemic has tested all of us and seeing a couple block out the negatives to simply get married makes my heart happy. That's what it's about!!
