The big day has finally come for movie goers.

AMC Theaters -- who has been closed since March -- has announced that they will officially be reopening their doors on August 20th.

But their re-opening promotion is super cute and honestly, super appreciated.

The largest theater chain is offering "Moves in 2020 at 1920 prices!" That means movie tickets will only cost 15 cents.

But like many good things, there is a catch.

You will only be able to enjoy 1920 prices on their opening day aka August 20th. However, ticket prices will not return to their normal price points since the world has basically been flipped upside down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here is what AMC Theaters had to say according to Screencrush.com:

"After opening day, tickets will still be available for cheaper than usual. Tickets for films like 'Inception,' 'Black Panther,' 'Back to the Future' and 'The Empire Strikes Back' will cost $5. AMC is bringing back old films since the North American box office has been essentially at a standstill with so many new movies have been delayed this year because of the outbreak."

Okay....it may not be 15 cents but $5.00 for a killer movie is not a bad deal at all!

We may have had to wait a few months to hit the movie theaters to chow down on popcorn while enjoying a new release, but it sounds like AMC is bringing their A game for their big return.
