It feels like there is a battle between those who want to enjoy family time in New Jersey and those who are driven by the need to cause trouble. Not only has it become dangerous for visitors, homeowners, and law enforcement, but the resources needed to quell the thuggery, get very expensive. With that in mind, it's mind-boggling to think it would be a good idea to promote a pop-up party on social media.

New Jersey has always been connected to diners. The state was crowned the unofficial diner capital of the world. I don't know the exact number of diners we have in the state, but most agree there were over 600 of them as recently as a decade ago. However, over the past 10 years, that number has steadily dropped. Some say, more than 150 have closed their doors and that number seems to be climbing.
