The Nick's Smile of Quarters will be held in memory of a marine who died in Afghanistan.

The community will be coming together this Saturday to achieve an ambitious goal in honor of a Manchester resident who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Manchester High School alumni, friends, family, and the business community will be attempting to line up quarters along the entire length of the high school track in honor of Marine Corporal Nicholas Ott who died in 2011.

The quarters will go toward scholarships and school imporvements in Ott's name. $3 in quarters makes up one foot of the trail.

Saturday will be a day filled with activities for everyone in a place that Nick loved, or you can donate online. Visit www.mtef4kids.org.
