Asbury Park Bakery Marries Baked Goods With Music

First, how awesome is the name?!  CONFECTIONS OF A ROCKSTAR!  A bakery who managed to work a musical reference in the title…my two favorite things…baked goods and music.

Custom cakes, one-of-a-kind cookies and a separate category for doggie cupcakes, so you can bring a special treat home for your pet. Now for the titles of some of their baked items.  Cupcakes include “Sweet Emotion,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll,” and “oReo Speedwagon.”  As for the sticky buns…”Don’t Go Bacon My Heart.”  Pour yourself a tall glass of milk because the cookies include, “Macaroon 5,” “Haulin’ Oats,” and “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.”  If I have to explain any of these musical references to you…we can’t be friends! (lol)  Other desserts include a variety of cakes (assorted cheesecake flavors are on the list…now I’m really in love) and their peanut butter, oat and strawberry jam bar or simply, “Jam Session.”  As an added bonus, you can get your one-of-a-kind design t-shirt with proceeds from the sales going to Asbury Park Dinner Table, fund “Operation Hey Buddy.”
