I grew up in Hightstown NJ. Just about a 15-mile drive to Great Adventure and a 40-minute drive to the beaches of the Jersey Shore, two places I spent most of my childhood summers. Long days on the beach were spent in Seaside Heights consisting of body surfing in waves what felt like 100 feet high, a packed lunch and the anticipation of dinner on the boardwalk. To this day, there is nothing like a Midway hot grilled sausage link, split in half and cradled by a soft long roll, layered with peppers and onions.

Getting Gas In New Jersey Really Stinks? Don’t Hold Back.
It’s not just me right, you’ve noticed gas prices on the rise too? The cynic in me says, “well sure they are, it’s summertime”. Factor in the price of crude oil, supply and demand during the summer months, and the different blend of gasoline prepared for the hotter climate. Another layer to that math, is the increase of vehicles on the road in New Jersey, now that our state has opened up in this next chapter of covid19. As the vaccination efforts continue, residents are feeling more comfortable taking road trips and family vacations

Remember last year when the pandemic created a toilet paper shortage? Then there was a sell-out of basic bleach products. It even got crazier. Ketchup was in high demand.
