Beatles bonanza for fans, NJ ‘The Voice’ recap – The NJ Breakroom
It's a must for Beatles fans! The expanded 50th anniversary reissue of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is offering lots of goodies. A 6-disc Super Deluxe Edition will include "100 minutes of of outtakes," plus a documentary. For more casual fans, there are 2-CD, 2-LP and single-disc configurations. They're all slated to hit stores on May 26.
UPS is rolling out Saturday service for all of New Jersey, to keep up with online shopping volume. South Jersey already has been a test market (along with Philly) for the extra day. Now, central and north Jersey are part of an expansion.
'The Voice' knockouts claimed our final NJ hopeful of this season! Gloucester County teen Dawson Coyle took on a difficult Imagine Dragons song. He tweeted thanks to Blake Shelton and Alicia Keys. So, the NJ trio on Season 12 all come home, before live rounds.
The Graduate returns to theaters later this month. It's part of the movie's 50th anniversary celebration. The newly restored classic will be screened at more than a dozen NJ theaters, including Toms River, Hazlet, Cranford, North Brunswick & Vorhees.
'The Purge' is headed to TV. Director James DeMonaco & Blumhouse are making the horror franchise an "anthology" series. (I suppose it's competition for Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story.)
