Belmar Movies on the Beach Cancelled for the Entire Summer

Residents were surprised when Belmar posted on its Facebook page that they were canceling their entire summer movies on the beach series.

In the post, they mentioned that they "experienced a complete system failure with the screen quality. All movies are now canceled for the 2019 summer season until further notice."

Scratching your head? Yeah, me too. I'm not experienced with how movies on the beach are executed, but I'm shocked that the town is just giving up on a very popular summer event.

The good news is that there are plenty of local options if you're looking to catch a flick on the sand or enjoy other fun at the Shore.
