Bomb Scare Clears Atlantic County Post Office
Saturday was a rough day for some postal workers and customers in Mullica Township.
Mullica Township Police say a bomb scare was reported at the Elwood Post Office as there was a suspicious package left unattended.

Police cleared the building of workers and customers and secured the area.
Atlantic City's Bomb Squad responded to the post office, on the White Horse Pike (Route 30). The squad x-rayed the box and "it was determined it did not contain explosives or any other harmful matter."
The scene was declared safe and the building was reopened. Police say the post office was closed for about two hours.
