BRICK – A township man is accused of breaking into cars and stealing valuable items out of them, according to the Brick Township Police Department.

Gabriel Mosier, 33, of Brick Township, was on the radar of officials since early August after there was a string of car burglaries in the Adamson Road and Morsell Drive sections of the township.

Mosier allegedly looked into vehicles that were parked in front of the residences during the night and pulled on the handles to see if they were unlocked. If they were, he would enter the car and steal high-value items.

Police say that he stole designer glasses, an Xbox gaming console, loose change, and a security camera that was mounted on a tree outside of a residence.

Mosier was charged with several counts of Defiant Trespass, Burglary, and Theft as a result of his criminal activity.

The Brick Township Police reminds residents to remove any valuables from their vehicles at night and to keep their cars locked.
