Have you ever heard of Brownstone Pancake Factory? Bobby Bournias and his family opened the first location in Edgewater in 2014. The restaurant created such a buzz over the years that a second location popped up in Englewood Cliffs in 2018.

Brownstone even caught the attention of Guy Fieri. They were featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

So, what's the big deal? Pancakes.

Brownstone Pancake Factory has some of the craziest creations I've ever seen.

For example...

Red velvet Oreo cake pancakes. Yup. Red velvet pancakes topped with a slice of red velvet cake, oreo crumbles, and chocolate syrup. Um, yum!

We'll be able to try these masterpieces as Brownstone Pancake Factory opens its third location on Cedar Bridge Avenue at the old Jack & Mike's Bar & Grill site.

According to the Asbury Park Press, they expected to be flipping pancakes by Memorial Day. However, there is still no word on when the grand opening will be taking place. Watch this space.

Oh, and this place isn't just about the pancakes. They are famous for their "Ultimate Insane Milkshakes" as well.

Check out the M&M chocolate cake ala mode shake. How do you even start to eat this thing? Ha!

Clearly, breakfast is a focus for Brownstone Pancake Factory, but they serve sandwiches, salads, and more. Their menu is very reminiscent of a diner menu.

I've heard really good things about the penne vodka.

Good luck to the Bournias family and welcome to the Jersey Shore! I do not doubt that there will be lines of people eager to get a taste of Brownstone Pancake Factory.

Here's a look at what we have to look forward to.
