Casino Game Casts Players in a Bad Light

Every time I go to Atlantic City (a few times a year), the first thing people ask when I come home is, "So, how'd ya do?"

No matter what I answer, the next question is, "What were you playing?"

When I answer THAT question, I have to mentally prepare myself for what comes next.

Why must I prepare myself? Because I love penny slots. Love 'em. Specifically the Sex and the City machine. It's my favorite, and I really won't play any other machine.

And when I tell people that, they laugh, sneer, and roll their eyes.

As you can see from the picture here, sometimes I do pretty well, relatively speaking... sometimes I don't.

The trick is to get the bonus games, because they are super fun and that's how you really clean up.

But everyone always makes fun of me for not playing a 'real game'.

I wish I was good at craps or blackjack or poker so I could win more money, but it's just not my thing. I'm too scared to drop $15 bucks on one hand, even if the odds are better.

So yes, I will sit at my penny slots with all the little old ladies and play what little bit I have, knowing sometimes I will win a few hundred bucks.

And I will feel utterly fabulous.
