The CDC has issued it's latest flu activity update for New Jersey and the entire nation for the week ending February 10th, 2018, the most recent information published.

New Jersey is still among the states reporting high activity, and there are 43 states reporting high activity, including neighboring New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Delaware.

New Jersey and the neighboring states listed above are all reporting the highest level of high activity on the scale provided by the CDC. The percentage of patient visits due to influenza like illness nationwide is 7.5%, which is well above the national baseline of 2.2%, according to the CDC.
