Pregnant women have something new to worry about.

According to a new study, researchers say that keeping a cellphone close to the belly could affect the unborn baby's health.

The scientists were able to figure out that exposure to cellphone radiation during pregnancy could affect the baby's brain development and could cause hyperactivity and memory problems.

The study author, Hugh Taylor, says the results of the Yale University study show that it's probaby safer for a pregnant woman to not carry her cell phone, or sleep with it, anywhere near her abdomen unless it's turned off.

The study found the cellphone exposure affected the development of the same region of the brain responsible for attention-deficit-hyperactivity disorder.
