It's not every day I visit a mall. Honestly, I haven't been to one in a while, especially during the summer months when I would much rather be outside enjoying the nice weather. But when it rained the other day, I ended up visiting two malls in the area.

First, the Moorestown Mall, which unfortunately had almost nothing going on inside. Then I drove a little farther along on Route 38, stopping at the Cherry Hill Mall, and was very happy to see how busy it was and how much it has to offer. It was the total opposite, taking me forever to find a parking spot; it was that crowded.

There are already so many busy stores, and I just read that they're adding even more, which is great to see. It reminded me that some malls in New Jersey are still thriving, and Cherry Hill Mall is certainly one of them.

Cherry Hill Mall Is Getting Six New Stores

According to Patch, 6 new stores are coming to the Cherry Hill Mall either this year or next, including AritziaCrocs, IndochinoTimberland, Gorjana, and True Religion.

Dick's House Of Sport Is Coming To Cherry Hill Mall

Another big addition is the new Dick's House of Sport, which is expected to open later this year. I've been to the one at the Freehold Raceway Mall, and it's awesome. A batting cage, a climbing wall, and much more are on the way.

These are the long-gone NJ mall stores we miss the most

With so many trends of the 1990's back in style, it's a great time to look back at a strong foundation of 80's and 90's culture — New Jersey mall shopping. Some stores were a highlight, every trip.
