It's time to get ready for Show #18 this coming Sunday and joining us will be Asbury Park Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn and Seaside Heights Mayor Tony Vaz!
Let's start in the city of Asbury Park whose beach was just named among the best in the entire country making the Top-25 on Travel and Leisure's list.
Asbury Park got good marks in a number of areas according to the rankings including for clean beach spots, great views, a great place to swim, surf and sunbathe and having a stellar boardwalk with restaurants, mini-golf, and more.
The beach and boardwalk areas in this Monmouth County municipality are a true summer destination themselves but there's also a number of nearby attractions from Convention Hall to the Stone Pony, the Wonder Bar to Tim McLoone's Supper Club, and great sights and sounds all around.
We've asked Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn to join us to discuss what's ahead for the summer in Asbury Park.
There's also plenty to do, see, and eat in the Ocean County borough of Seaside Heights from now through Labor Day and beyond.
From Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach to shops, arcades, rides of all kinds, great beaches, views, and swimming areas plus movies on the beach including JAWS on the apropos day of July 3 and weekend itself.
We've asked Mayor Tony Vaz to join us to discuss what's ahead for the summer in Seaside Heights and what the borough has been working on to continue making it a family-friendly destination.
