An Eatontown man remains in stable condition two days after being hit by a car while he was walking along Grant and Central Avenue's in Seaside Heights, Seaside Heights Detective Steve Korman tells WOBM News.

Police say around 11:30 am, a 67-year-old man from Eatontown was walking east in the crosswalk on the south side of the intersection of Grant and Central Avenue when he was struck by a GMC Arcadia being operated by 56-year-old Pompton Plains woman traveling westbound on Grant Avenue turning left into the southbound lane of Central Avenue.

Due to injuries the man sustained, he was transported by Tri-Boro First Aid Squad to a landing Zone where he was airlifted by a NorthStar Medivac Helicopter to Jersey Shore Univerity Medical Center.
The accident is still under investigation by Patrolman Joseph DiGiovanni and the pedestrian is in stable condition at this time.
