During Covid-19 it is heartbreaking for the 'Littles' to not be able to connect with their 'Bigs' in person. Here's how we can continue to show our support for children in need.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey (BBBSCNNJ) has their main location in Asbury Park and, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, has continued to serve thousands of children from our coastal towns as well as throughout the state.

Their programs and cases needed to be transitioned to virtual environments due to the pandemic; so Bigs and Littles have been staying connected through Zoom and Google Meet.

But there is always a need, even during the Covid crisis, for new volunteer mentors, so you can still be trained and matched with a child to positively help shape the life of a young person who needs a good role model that truly cares. During this difficult time of social distancing, Big Brothers Big Sisters can use your support more than ever to keep all of the one-to-one mentoring relationships safe and supported!

The Big Brothers Big Sisters staff has been a lifeline for many families in their programs, working with community partners and restaurants to provide over 1,000 meals as well as distributing over $2,000 in donated groceries and grocery store gift cards for the neediest families. BBBSCNNJ would like to thank all of their donors and volunteers for their help and commitment to this amazing organization.

We would like to thank Tom Hayes and NJNG, sponsor or our Asbury Park Boardwalk Studio, for always bringing attention to community non-profit organizations like this one so that we can do our part to support those who help our local residents in need.
