TRAFFIC ALERT: Exit 81 Southbound On GSP Will Be Closed This Wknd

Traffic Alert!

Exit 81 on the Garden State Parkway Southbound will be closed this weekend due to construction work.

The ramp will be closed at 8:00 PM this Friday evening and then will reopen on 5:00 AM on Sunday morning weather permitting.

The work being done involved enhancing water service and fire protection for SUEZ customers. Approximately 1,800 feet of a water main which runs directly under Exit 81 on the GSP will be replaced.

You can expect other exit and entrance ramp closures and lane shifts because of this project but we will let you know of those announcements as they are revealed.
