But one thing is for sure. If you boat in the Brick area in the Barnegat Bay, then you have some memories of F Cove.

The History Of F Cove

It all started in the 1950s, when plans for a waterfront community were underway. The area was dredged in the shape of an "F" in preparation.
However, by the 1970s, the plan was scrapped. Then the twists and turns of the existence of F Cove began.
F Cove Gets National TV Attention
2009 was a busy year for F Cove. A proposal was presented to fill in the area and close F Cove. That didn't happen.
Then there was the MTV Jersey Shore episode. In 2009, which featured F Cove. That sent the spot's popularity soaring, and it became the boating hot spot it is today.

These days, state and local police keep their eyes on activities at F Cove to make sure activities don't get out of hand.
