If you've ever wondered what the story of Michael Scott, Jim, Pam, Dwight, and the cast of "The Office" would look like in musical form, wonder no more.

Dunder Mifflin is now under the lights and on-stage in an off-Broadway show called 'The Office! A Musical Parody.' It's playing now at The Jerry Orbach Theater in New York City through July.

Creators are calling this an "unauthorized parody of the hit TV show" focused a typical morning at Scranton's third-largest paper company until, for no logical reason, a documentary crew begins filming the lives of the employees.

Bob and Tobly McSmith wrote the musical. They met while applying for jobs at the Dippin' Dots in the mall. They did not get the job but went on to create: FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, Bayside! The Saved by the Bell MusicalFull! House! The Musical, Showgirls! The Musical!, and JonBenet! Murder Mystery Theater.

Mashable calls The Office musical:

The world's most elaborate inside joke, created with a whole lot of love, just for fans.

The show has an overall rating of 4.6 on Ticketmaster with many reviews like this:

If you’re a fan of The Office and know the series well, you have to see this. They cover a lot of the major storylines and also throw in a lot of one-liners for other storylines. We enjoyed everything about the show.

I am a super fan of The Office. I can quote most episodes word-for-word. I'm still a little skeptical about this musical, but the reviews are pretty good! Tickets start at $35. Worth a shot, right?
