Beautiful Sea Oaks Golf Club, which is located along Route 539 in Little Egg Harbor Township, has been purchased by Accountable Equity, the parent company of the popular Renault Winery Resort. This is according to an article by Marilyn Johnson.

This is great news for us here in Southern Ocean County as it will bring back golf, lodging, events, weddings, jobs, and more to the area. I have attended many events at Sea Oaks both professionally and personally and it pleases me very much to hear that this beautiful location will once again see life and will be resurrected for us all to enjoy in Southern Ocean County.

According to reports, the former Sea Oaks will re-open as LBI National Golf & Resort, a Vivamee Signature Collection. Renovations beginning very soon and hopes to be running by June 2022 for the upcoming golf season here in Southern Ocean County.

In addition to golf, there are also plans for a hotel, restaurants, and wedding and event venues. These upgrades will be announced shortly. If you have ever played a round of golf at Sea Oaks, you know it is a nice course and was another great golfing option in Southern Ocean County. I look forward once again to being able to play at Sea Oaks. According to the Marilyn Johnson post, "Golfers looking to hit the links will also benefit from investment in the property, and the return of the expert practice facility, driving range, practice bunker, and putting green."

Look for more news in the coming weeks on the future LBI National Golf & Resort.
