We have met some amazing and generous people during our week-long Townsquare Cares Food Drive to benefit Fulfill at Freehold Raceway Mall. Area residents never disappoint when it comes to helping neighbors in need, and this amazing event is no exception. And there is still time for you to help.

We will continue to be at center court at Freehold Raceway Mall from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm again today, collecting your food and monetary donations which will go Fulfill to help them feed the tens of thousands of Monmouth & Ocean County residents who are food insecure.

I know why we are all jumping at the opportunity to help. We're taking this very personally. This is not about people who are hungry. These are Monmouth & Ocean County residents, including thousands of kids who are hungry, and that's why we're all digging so deep to do something about it.

And I know things have been difficult for all of us, and I know it's a little harder for everyone to be as generous as they'd like to be. That's why we appreciate what you're doing to help so much this year.

And remember, Fulfill can provide three meals for every dollar you donate. Imagine that. Your one dollar can give a neighbor three meals they wouldn't have had without you. So no donation is too small.

And to make it even more convenient, we've set up a table between LL Bean and the Cheesecake Factory outside the mall, so if you have a busy day scheduled, you can just pull in, drop off your donation and be on your way!
