Congratulations! New Jersey Made The List Of America’s Fittest States
Good news for the Garden State. New Jersey has made the list of the top 10 fittest states in America.
New Jersey Is Among America's Fittest States
It's hard to believe in a state that has so much great food, a lot of it not good for you, that the residents would keep themselves in such good shape, but apparently, New Jersey residents do.
I wake up very early, because that's when my day starts, but I can confirm that, if there is a gym open in New Jersey, our residents will be there before 5:00 AM to get their workouts in, and that's an inspiration to the rest of us.

The study was reported on Study Finds, and here's how the results were compiled. Several factors were part of determining each state's rank.
What Factors Contributed To New Jersey's High Fitness Ranking?
Obesity levels, sleep levels, dietary factors, activity levels, and other criteria all contributed to the findings.
When you think of these criteria, you might think they are all disadvantages for the very busy residents of New Jersey, but we have risen to the challenge.

The top 5 states in the nation for fitness, according to this study, are (from 5 to 1) Utah, Colorado, Washington, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
The Least Fit States In America
Not all states met the fitness challenge. Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, Alabama, and Nevada comprised the bottom 5 states on the list.
Congratulations to every New Jersey resident who found a way, through the work schedule, the family schedule, the traffic, and the pressure of living in the Garden State, to get to the gym and stay fit.
