Freehold is getting excited with the news that a very in-demand grocery store is under construction.

The fourth Livoti's Old World Market will be taking the place of Top Tomato in Freehold Township's Mount Corner Shopping Center on Route 537 as early as this spring.

With current operations in Aberdeen, Middletown, and Marlboro, if you live in Monmouth County, you know how amazing Livoti's is.

Don't get me wrong, I love shopping at ShopRite and Stop & Shop, but I also enjoy supporting local businesses that are family-run.

Plus, Livoti's Old World Market features items that you simply can't get anywhere else, especially its Italian specialties and meats. Oh, and Livoti's bakery is next level.

Owner, John Livoti told the Asbury Park Press that customers and fans have been begging for a location in Freehold for quite some time. Apparently, Livoti's markets are in high demand. It wasn't just Freehold that wanted the grocer, there were many requests from Howell and Jackson in Ocean County as well.

Livoti's Old World Market Freehold is going to have a lot of space to fill. I'm talking 20,000 square-feet.

Not to worry though, Livoti's will make it happen. It's what the family does.

John Livoti opened the very first Livoti's Old World Market just about 11 years ago in Aberdeen. Other stores followed with the help of his COO, also known as his son John Jr. John Sr.'s son-in-law, Mike Ali, will be the manager of the new Freehold Livoti's.

Welcome to Freehold Township Livoti family. I can't wait to visit the focacciaria at the new location!
