We wanted to take our grandson  out for a day of fun, and he was ready to go when he heard about the pumpkin patch and especially the hayride behind the big tractor. It was a sunny Sunday, so we headed out to the beautiful town of Holmdel.

Here are some great reasons to head out to A, Casola Farms...

The Sunflower Haunted Trail..yes it was a little bit scary, but they do a really good job with it. What's left of the sunflowers are a great backdrop for the spooky trail, and the people you meet along the way are...well...very interesting.

The Corn Maze...We took the haunted trail, but the families coming out of that big field were all smiles, and you don't have to worry about getting scares out there.

The Petting Zoo...Always a big hit with the kids. The cow is adorable, but just remember don't feed the donkey or ponies.

The Hayride. It's a nice long hayride around the grounds and the kids can spotlight replicas of their favorite scary characters along the way.

The Pumpkin Patch...Lots of great pumpkins to choose from and plenty of carts around in case the kids have their eyes on one of those big pumpkins!
