A fundraiser is being held to raise money for the children of the 32-year-old sergeant who passed away from a stroke on Friday.

Tony's Pizza in Bayville will be hosting a benefit this Wednesday with twenty-five percent of the proceeds going towards caring for the children and fiancé that Sgt. Alison Wray has left behind. The pizza parlor is located at 40 Atlantic City Blvd.

There is a GoFundMe fundraiser page that was created that has already raised over $8,000 and the community has strong hopes that the trend to show support will continue.

Wray had two children who are 2 years old and 4 years old, and then two step-children who are 11 years old and 15 years old.

"Please keep Sgt. Wray's family in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn their loss," said Berkeley police Chief Karin DiMichele. "Please also keep the officers and civilian staff at Berkeley Township in your prayers as they have lost a great officer, a great leader, great public servant and a great friend."
