A large sea turtle got caught up in fishing gear off the coast of New Jersey, but luckily the Coast Guard showed up to help!

The 800-pound turtle was entangled about 30 miles off the coast of South Jersey, near Atlantic City. It was spotted by a Good Samaritan, who reported it to the authorities.

Crews from the Coast Guard's Atlantic City and Cape May stations were dispatched to help, and were able to free the turtle, who is seen on video swimming away.

Great job by all involved! Glad to hear this story end on a good note!
