When I was asked to join Giuliana and Bill Rancic on stage for a show called "Little Things", part of Meridian Health's "Paint The Town Pink" initiative to remind women to get their annual mammogram, I was glad to do it.

I had interviewed Bill on the phone last week but had never met him ,or Giuliana, until just minutes before the event Saturday night at The Algonquin Theater in Manasquan. The minute I met them I knew they were really nice people.

And then to hear them share the most personal moments of their lives on stage, and do it all to emphasize the importance of getting an annual mammogram, was truly inspirational.

Bill and Giuliana are completely sincere in their passion for getting the word out, since they feel that a mammogram saved Giuliana's life. These are really good people doing really great work, and it was an absolute pleasure and honor to share the stage with them.
