What is it about watching Christmas movies in July? This trend has been growing in popularity and perhaps has special meaning this year due to the current pandemic. Let’s face it, our favorite Christmas movies create that “feel-good” nostalgic feeling and that much-needed escape from reality.  If watching your favorite Christmas classics puts you in a festive mood and reduces your stress levels, then go for it.  Some of my personal favorites include the Holiday, Home Alone, and The Grinch.

So, turn up the air conditioning, grab your favorite blanket, make a bowl of popcorn (add a bag of M&Ms) and enjoy the last weekend of the Hallmark Channel’s Christmas movie schedule. Next big tv event? Shark Week! Starting August 9th on the Discovery Channel.
