The American Heart Association Walk at Monmouth Battlefield State Park yesterday featured some incredible heartwarming stories about survival and support.

The day is certainly one to think about your health and how your lifestyle may be affecting it. Everyone there had a personal reason to be there, whether it was support for the Association, celebration of survival, or tribute to those lost, and the day was filled with emotion.

The American Heart Association does such incredible work for those affected by heart disease and their families. Get all the info on the Association and how you can help, or get help, by visiting the American Heart Association website.

I was very proud to be there, wearing my "survivor" hat and shirt and I was very proud to be among all the other "survivor ambassadors" who attended the event.
