Grab your boy scout/girl scout troop or youth group, your friends, your co-workers, or just come by yourself to help Move For Hunger and United Methodist Churches of Greater NJ feed those in need and draw attention to those who go hungry.

On March 21st you could be helping some of the 800 million hungry people in the world by signing up to volunteer for the “Yes, We Can” event to pack 500,000 meals in one day.

With the support of the nonprofit Rise Against Hunger, six sites across NJ will have three meal packing timeslots throughout the day. For details and to register CLICK HERE!

This project is great for persons of all ages, from five years old to 105 years old!

One volunteer who is planning to be there on March 21 puts it like this: "In a country of plenty, there are many faceless people that are hungry. Anything that we can do to fill their bellies and souls is the least we can do.”

Rise Against Hunger is committed to ending hunger by 2030.

More than three million children die every year because of undernutrition and the disease that ensues, and many others fail to thrive in school because they’re hungry.
