When cars collide, bad things happen. In this case, a Jeep Cherokee and a Jeep Renegade made physical impact with each other on the Route 72 Causeway Bridge shortly before noon today. The Stafford Township Police Department shared this startling picture and info on the story is below.

According to police, the Cherokee driver from New York was heading east and slowed down for traffic. The Renegade driver from Manahawkin was traveling east and crashed into the rear of the Cherokee and then proceeded to strike the physical barrier (see above). That's how it came to rest on the median. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Police report that the driver of the Renegade "was issued a summons for Careless Driving."
