We broke the news here that Trader Joe's was coming to Brick. With anticipation at an all-time high, the store has announced a grand opening date.

According to company officials, Trader Joe's Brick will start ringing people up Thursday, October 17. The grand opening celebration is set to begin at 9 a.m. with tastings, giveaways, music, and more!

Brick Patch is reporting that the new store has a very "Brick" feel. The store is said to have murals of Mantoloking Bridge, Brick Beach, the Windward Beach amphitheater just to mention a few.

If you're looking to brave the crowds, the store will be open Monday-Sunday 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Trader Joe's is located where the old Ethan Allen was in the Brick Commons.

Trader Joe's has been around since the 50s and offers unique products and significant savings without sales, or "clubs" to join. This is the first Ocean County location. Monmouth has a store in Shrewsbury.
