Here’s Where Belmar’s Uber and Lyft Stands Are

If you've been in Belmar and requested an Uber or Lyft, you may have learned the hard way that you can't hang in the taxi area.

Until recently, Uber and Lyft customers in Belmar have been ticketed and fined $54 for finding their ride via apps in undesignated areas, often the middle of the street.

The Mayor of Belmar has announced the introduction of specific stands for Uber and Lyft riders and drivers.

These locations are outside of:

• D’Jais
• The Belmar Marina near the Anchor Tavern
• BeachHaus Brewery
• 10th Ave. Burrito Co.
• Boathouse Bar & Grill
• Bar A in Lake Como
