If You’re Exhausted New Jersey, Even After Sleeping, You’re Not Alone
This time of year doesn't help.
Are You Feeling Drained This Holiday Season?
If you're already feeling exhausted and even a full night's sleep doesn't help, you're not alone; we're all running on empty these days.
And with the holidays in full swing, the shopping, the cooking, the endless parties, you can bet the exhaustion is only going to ramp up. I'm tired just thinking about it!
Plus, when you factor in stress over money and bills, it's enough to keep even the best of sleepers up at night.

And then there's the darkness. It gets dark so early now, and that alone can make you feel more drained.
A new study reveals just how tired we really are, and the findings are quite alarming.
Overall Exhaustion: Sleep, Stress, And Well-Being
According to a survey by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, U.S. adults found that nearly 72% say sleepiness sometimes, often, or always gets in the way of their everyday activities.
Nearly 60% of people report that being tired affects their mood, 53% say the lack of sleep increases stress and anxiety levels, and 42% say work productivity is affected.
Another key takeaway from the study includes that adults aged 25-34, nearly 30%, and 35-44, 31%, are the most likely age groups to say that relationships are an area of their lives affected by sleepiness.
Now that we're aware of it, maybe we can try to go to bed even just a little bit earlier. Hopefully, over time, it'll help.
