I Finally Got to Try This Landmark!

I know this is a heritage favorite in Freehold...but it took me all these years to get there.

Jersey Freeze seems to be as well known for its ice cream as for its burgers, and I have had it on my list of places to try for years.

I pass it every time I head to Irwin Mazda, Freehold Raceway Mall, and Barnes & Noble, but the timing was never right to stop in, and, quite frankly, I could never understand that confusing highway intersection to navigate the driveway to get into their parking lot.

But yesterday was the day...and I will say that the burgers that Christopher and I had were actually among the best I have ever tasted. Benj had a pulled pork grilled cheese, and loved that, too. The boys were fans of the waffle fries, too.

Here's the irony -- we were too stuffed from our lunch (my burger was HUGE) to get ice cream, lol!

Guess we'll just have to go back again...but hopefully it won't take so many years : )
