Anytime Estimate polled 1,000 adults to get their opinions on neighbors, including a mix of 60% homeowners, 32% renters, and 8% in alternative living situations.

According to the research, 82% of Americans say having good neighbors is just as important as price or location when buying a home.

65% of those polled say a good neighbor is someone they can trust, followed by 51% who say someone who's quiet.

Some of the things that annoy neighbors the most include letting a just pet roam around unattended, using the yard for storage or piling junk, playing loud music all hours of the day, and being inappropriately flirtatious.
