Point Pleasant is also hosting movies on the beach which take place every Tuesday in the sand.

But let's say watching a movie on the beach isn't quite your thing.

The whole idea of getting sand in your popcorn just doesn't strike you as fun.

Well, you could go to a run-of-the-mill movie theatre, or you could check out movies on the roof in Asbury Park.

Asbury Park has a ton of great activities to offer locals and visitors alike, and if you've always wanted to enjoy a movie under the stars then here's your chance.

Each year at the Baronet in Asbury Park, the rooftop gets turned into a one-of-a-kind movie-going experience.

Much like movies on the beach, you will have to bring your own chair and blankets if you want to get nice and cozy.

Movies on the Roof at the Baronet take place Thursdays and Saturdays in the summer and start promptly at 7:45 PM.

There is a cost for admission, but it's only twelve dollars to enjoy this unique movie-going experience.

What's cool is that the schedule goes well into local summer, with the last movie showing in mid-September.
