I love Halloween, every year my friends and I still have a massive costume party, and my wife and I love handing candy out and watching some classic Halloween movies.

Some years, we've been so bold as to head out to a haunted house, or a haunted hayride.

I've got pretty strong opinions on these types of things.

Now, it's not that I don't like them, that's not the case at all.

I think the imagination, work, and acting that go into a successful haunted attraction is amazing.

I would just prefer to not be terrified to the point of not being able to move.

Haunted hayrides are fine since I just have to sit in some hay, but haunted houses are a whole other challenge for me.

If you want to sit down and watch some good horror movies though, I'm all in!

So what do you do if you're like me; you like some spooky Halloween stuff, but you also don't want to get lost in a maze of horror?

There is a middle ground!

According to the Halloween House website, it's an immersive, one-of-a-kind experience that puts visitors into several different Halloween-themed worlds.

Some themes include Stranger Things, a Nightmare Before Christmas (which is actually a Christmas movie, but that's a debate for another day), as well as some general Halloween-themed rooms.

What I really like about the Halloween House is that it's something for kids and adults alike, if you want to do something to get into the Halloween spirit, without having the soul scared out of you, you can.

Halloween Houses website says it takes between 40 and 45 minutes to complete an entire journey through the house, and since it's all indoors it's something you could do on a rainy day.
