Getting from the shore to New York City just got even easier for the summer of 2026, and honestly, I'm pretty excited about this new service.

For as long as I can remember, the easiest way to get to New York City from Ocean County was to grab a bus out of the Toms River transit hub or take the Parkway up to the Metropark train station. The bus cost something like $50 (last time I took it), and the train probably cost about the same after parking for just one person.

This summer, though, getting to New York City will be as easy as going to Point Pleasant Beach.
