Point Pleasant Beach Fight Leaves Man Maimed
According to a recent Patch report, "A Toms River man is accused of biting half of a man's ear off during a bar fight in Point Pleasant Beach last weekend, authorities said."
An Ocean County man from Toms River is accused of biting parts of a man's ear off. "Michael D. Barone, 35, has been charged with aggravated assault in the incident".
Assistant Prosecutor Elizabeth Paterno said, "The man will need several surgeries to repair the damage to his ear."
Paterno also said that the Point Pleasant Beach fight was captured by surveillance video.
