The Search For Trolls In The Garden State As Halloween Gets Closer
As we head into fall and Halloween gets closer, why night start the hunt for some very cool "trolls" here in New Jersey.
My wife and I recently started the Burlington County Troll Trek, and we found it a fun afternoon of searching and finding these great pieces of art and fun creatures to meet.
What Is A Troll?
When you think of a troll, you might picture one of those strange little creatures hiding under a bridge, waiting to scare somebody!
Trolls have been part of folklore for hundreds of years, and they’re usually described as big, ugly, mysterious creatures that come out after dark. Sounds like something that belongs around Halloween, right?
With Halloween season approaching here in New Jersey, trolls fit right in with all the creepy creatures we love this time of year. They may not be as popular as ghosts, witches, or vampires, but there’s something about a mysterious troll lurking in the shadows that can definitely get your imagination going!
Our first Troll was the largest of the Trolls, Big Rusty. This giant was created by artist Thomas Dambo.

as a homage to recycling, sustainability and the power of
imagination."
So Big Rusty is done and now we are moving on to more Trolls and coming up we will more video of our adventures on the road as we continue the Burlington County Troll Trek.
