So let's look at the ideas for spring from Reader's Digest and see what are the top picks for spring 2025.

  •  The Cherry Blossom Festival: This annual event at Branch Brook Park draws thousands every year and it's a beautiful visual. "This stunning 360-acre park, which runs through Belleville and Newark, features more than 5,200 Japanese cherry blossom trees that burst into full bloom during the annual Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival, being held April 5–13." We have gone to this event and it's something. Be sure you have your camera with you.
  • Wine Country: There are more than 60 vineyards in New Jersey. Take a weekend to search out some of your favorites and enjoy their beauty, history, and their drink.
  • A Day In Red Bank: Reader's Digest suggests a visit to Red Bank and a trip to Robinson Ale House. "After your meal, take a stroll down Broad Street, where you’ll discover boutiques, art galleries and specialty shops. And if you have some extra time, be sure to swing by JBJ Soul Kitchen—yes, that’s Jon Bon Jovi’s venture!"
  • Historic sites and scenic parks: New Jersey has deep history being part of the original colonies here in America. So go out and get your steps in and enjoy.

These are just a few ideas for spring in New Jersey. Start thinking of where you'd like to go and get out there and enjoy spring in the Garden State, it's great for "body and mind".
