If you live in Fair Haven or Monmouth Beach, you'll want to get ready for some construction and possible traffic delays coming up as New Jersey American Water has announced that they are replacing some aging water mains in these towns.

The work begins this week in both Monmouth County municipalities to replace water mains and lines that were put into place, in some cases, back in the 1920s, according to NJAW.

In addition, there will be four fire hydrants and 65 utility-owned service lines getting replaced as well.

New Jersey American Water said the contractors they have working on this project expect to be done in about three months.

It'll likely affect traffic patterns as well in Monmouth County as these water main projects will be getting done between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the week.

There are a few streets in both Monmouth County towns that will see water main replacements.

Then, there will be work getting done in Monmouth Beach.
