It appears that in the next two weeks, cold weather will hit a portion of the nation as we head into September. According to Newsweek, a good portion of the middle of America will see temperatures leaning or below normal in the next two weeks.

It has been cooler than usual the last 10 days here in New Jersey, and in the next two weeks, as we head into September, it looks like temperatures will stay normal, so we will not see a cold snap here. The forecast is calling for "near normal"  temperatures for this time of year for the entire state.

The first day of autumn in New Jersey is Monday, September 22nd. Arriving at approximately 2:19 PM. 

 

The coldest area, according to the Newsweek article, in the next two weeks will be in the area of Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Basically, the middle of the nation, except the deep south (Arkansas and Louisiana).
