The Fantastic “Night Forms” Art Show at Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey
Words like fantastic, awesome, fabulous, amazing, outstanding, etc are just some of the words I would use for the upcoming art exhibit at Grounds For Sculpture in Mercer County, New Jersey.
I might even use those same words to describe Grounds For Sculpture which is a unique art museum with exhibits indoors and outdoors on the museum "grounds" for visitors to enjoy. Huge bigger-than-life sculptures are set in a unique style. It is a truly unique place and if you have not made it a day trip yet, don't hesitate because it's a fun and eye-opening place to enjoy with the family.
Recently April and I were fortunate enough to attend media night for the upcoming exhibit by artist Ricardo Rivera and Klip Collective. According to Grounds For Sculpture "Infinite Wave Represents Second Iteration of Night Forms, a Site-Specific CommissionPresented in Dialogue with the Sculpture Park’s Natural Landscape collection of contemporary Art." We thought it was a truly unique combination of light and sound set throughout the grounds of the museum.
There are 13 exhibits that you will encounter as you make your way around the grounds at night and in the darkness the sights and sounds draw you in for a fabulous experience. Be sure after you get your pics, everyone was taking photos, you take time to watch and listen to each station's presentation.
“As you step into infinite Wave, you get swept into a psychedelic playground of art, music, and light. Infinite Wave is an evolution and remix of 2021’s Night Forms: dream loop by Klip Collective. A new path starts where we left off and takes you through new and reimagined works. We’ve added new music and interactive elements, allowing visitors to be players of not only the visuals but the sounds as well.” ~ Ricardo Rivera
It's so cool to walk this exhibit in the dark and watch these pieces of art come to life. Take a moment to look through my mega gallery and see some of what we encountered, but in-person is the way to go with this exhibit. It's technical, digital, visual, and audio art and it's here in New Jersey from November 25th, 2022 until April 2nd, 2023.
