
Police Detail $300K Theft at Lower Twp. Family Business
A couple working for a Lower Township plumbing company has been charged with stealing approximately $300,000 from their employer over the last three years.
Lower Township Police posted on Facebook, saying that Al's Plumbing, a longtime plumbing and heating contractor in Villas, went to the police after they conducted an analysis of their business accounts and found thousands of dollars missing.
Plumbing Employees Charged With Theft of Company Money
The office manager, Jenna M. Gibson, 35, and her husband, plumber Chadwick W. Handlovsky, 33, both of Galloway, have been charged in a theft and money laundering scheme that pilfered about $300K over a three -year period.
It's not clear how the money was laundered from the business.
Gibson and Handlovsky were charged with second-degree theft by deception, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit theft. The couple were releaased on bail until trial.

It's not hard to find local customers of Al's Plumbing & Heating in Villas and around Lower Township, where the family-owned company has been in business as a licensed contractor since the 1970s.
