Miss Pennsylvania Has Cringy Fall Off Pageant Stage (and I’m Trying Not to Laugh)

In a move that was most definitely not rehearsed or planned, Miss Pennsylvania wiped out hard at the Miss USA competition, falling all the way off the stage. Watch the epic fail as it happened.

It's never fun to work a very long time towards a goal and choke at the last minute. But it happens. Like, A LOT. Sometimes too much pressure can interfere with focus. And being judged, graded, or scored in the heat of a game or competition can bring on jitters.

Maybe that's what happened to Miss Pennsylvania Noni Diarra while she was competing in this weekend's Miss USA competition. I can only joke about it because something similar's happened to me.

Wearing eagle wings, the Philly native strutted along, putting on a performance until she just disappeared. She flew like a bird alright. Right off the stage.

Just one step in the wrong direction in a skinny stiletto heel took Noni out and it was all caught on video and posted to YouTube by NappiMusicVideos.

She didn't just fall off the pageant stage, she FELL. Like, ALL THE WAY down. It's so sad. You could just hear a collective mental reaction from everyone watching, in person and online, like, 'Oooo. That had to hurt.'

Noni managed to get back up, though, and brush off the mishap. Thankfully, except for her ego, she wasn't seriously hurt.

Miss Pennsylvania, however, was not crowned the new Miss USA on Sunday night in Los Angeles. The crown was given to Miss Michigan, 22-year-old Alma Cooper, CNN reports.
